On May 10, Xiamen signed a deepening strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Communications Construction Group (CCCG), and CCCG signed a joint venture cooperation strategic framework agreement with Xiamen ITG Holding. The signing ceremony was held in the form of signing in writing and witnessing online, with Cui Yonghui, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Huang Wenhui, Mayor of Xiamen, and some municipal leaders of Xiamen, including Li Huiyue, Huang Xiaozhou, and Lian Kunming; Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCG, Wang Haihuai, General Manager of CCCG, Pei Minshan, Deputy General Manager of CCCG, and Xu Xiaoxi, Chairman of Xiamen ITG Holding, Guo Congming, General Manager of Xiamen ITG Holding, and Zeng Tingyi, Deputy General Manager of Xiamen ITG Holding, attended the event in Xiamen and Beijing respectively.

According to the cooperation agreement, Xiamen and CCCG will conduct an in-depth cooperation in advanced manufacturing, public infrastructure construction, and urban comprehensive area development. CCCG and Xiamen ITG Holding will jointly promote industrial agglomeration and assist local economic development.

Secretary Cui Yonghui stated that currently, we are following the important requirements in President Xi’s congratulatory letter to the 40th anniversary of the construction of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone, fearlessly standing at the forefront and moving forward, striving to take the lead in achieving socialist modernization. As a well-known central enterprise and global leading enterprise, CCCG has strong strength and advanced technology, as well as clear advantages in integrated services throughout the entire industry chain in the fields of large transportation and big cities. This agreement will further promote the continuous deepening and consolidation of the cooperation between the two sides, and help work together to create a new cooperation model of central and local enterprises. We will strengthen the guarantee of tracking services, create a better ecological environment for legality, innovation and talents, and produce better conditions and provide better services for the development of enterprises in Xiamen.

Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCG, said that CCCG participated in the construction of Xiamen Bridge in 1987 and has been deeply integrated into the economic and social development of Xiamen for more than 30 years. This agreement marks the expansion of cooperation between the two sides from engineering construction to all-round development. Standing at a new starting point of cooperation, CCCG will give full play to its unique advantages, mature experience, and brand resources to create more high-quality and model projects in Xiamen, making greater contributions to fashioning Xiamen into a high-quality, high appearance, modern and international city at a higher level.

Xu Xiaoxi, Chairman of Xiamen ITG Holding, stated that according to the strategic deployment of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, as a state-owned investment platform for Xiamen’s advanced manufacturing industry, Xiamen ITG Holding will take this signing as an opportunity to vigorously develop and expand the spirit of SEZ of “daring to venture and try, pioneering to be the first, and working hard unostentatiously”. Together with CCCG, Xiamen ITG Holding will complement each other’s advantages, achieve mutual benefit and common development, enhance the construction of major infrastructure projects in Xiamen and drive the high-quality development of Xiamen’s advanced manufacturing industry.
